    Y Ddraig Goch or the "the red dragon" is associated with many things Welsh and appears on the national flag of Wales. The oldest known use of the dragon symbolising Wales is from 829 AD and supposedly linked to the battle flag of King Arthur. In 1953, the Red Dragon badge of Henry VII was blazoned the motto "Y ddraig Goch ddyry cychwyn, or "the red dragon inspires action". This beautiful 100% handmade trinket box celebrates this era of Welch history in metal and fine crystal.
